Off Piste / Freeriding:
Whether you call it off piste or freeriding is not important; the important thing is that they have a lot in common. Off piste skiers and free-riders both like powder, wide endless slopes and the feeling of groundless skiing down the mountain. Off piste skiers prefer to do short turns and create eights with a moderate speed and like to admire their tracks at their next stop. Free-riders are pushing the accelerator pedal and flying down the mountains. For them the track is not so important; speed, steepness, corner angulations and face spray are important. There is not a strict line between off piste and free-riding, which is good. Then in this way everyone can enjoy his own favorite things.
Unfortunately there is not always powder, but even with no powder it's possible to have fun away from the official slopes. To ski a couloir can also be fun and make your heart beat faster. To ski moderate to steep slopes with a feeling of skiing through champagne with almost no edging and use of power that's spring snow skiing and one of the finest ways of skiing.
Service:
4 - 5 hours off piste skiing and 1 hour for lunch. The official slopes are only to lead us to the next runs. For safety reasons you will be equipped with an avalanche transceiver and if necessary a harness. The mountain guide or ski guide is available to pick you up from your hotel or chalet and drops you off again. The mountain guide or ski guide also can meet you at the bottom of one of the cable cars. Whatever you prefer. You decide which area you prefer (Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Klein Matterhorn or Cervinia), how hard and how fast you like to ski. The off piste skiing starts in the ski area, latest 1 hour after the agreed meeting time and ends wherever you like.
CHF 520.00 for 1 or 2 people, for every additional person a fee of CHF 40.00 per person will be charged.
Note:
Normally guiding has priority on the day because powder skiing counts, though this does not mean that I won't teach you or I won't give you tips and tricks when you ask for it.
