Find the best powder runs with a Ski Guide – Mountain Guide Zermatt
Freeriding is powder, wide and endless slops and the feeling of groundless boarding down the mountain. Freeriders are pushing the accelerator pedal and flying in huge turns down the mountains. For a freerider the track is not so important: important is speed, steepness, corner angulations, face spray and fun. Boarding down powder faces is one of the greatest things.
Unfortunately there is not always powder. But even with no powder it’s possible to have fun away from the official slopes. To do a couloir can also be fun and make your heart going faster. To surf moderate to steep slopes with a feeling of gliding through champagne with almost no edging and use of power is spring snowboarding and one of the finest ways of flying down a face.
Standard:
CHF 690.00 for 1 or 2 people, for every additional person a fee of CHF 50.00 per person will be charged.
Peak Season:
22nd December 2024 – 4th January 2025 / 9th February – 4th March 2025 / 13th April – 26th April 2025.
CHF 750.00 for 1 or 2 people, for every additional person a fee of CHF 50.00 per person will be charged.
Services:
4 – 5 hours off piste boarding and 1 hour for lunch. The official slopes only lead us to the next runs. For safety reasons you will be equipped with an avalanche transceiver, probes, shovel, backpack and if necessary an harness. I am available to pick you up from your hotel or chalet and drops you off again. We also can meet at the bottom of one of the cable cars. Whatever you prefer. You decide which area you prefer (Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Klein Matterhorn or Cervinia), how hard and how fast you like to board. The off piste boarding starts in the ski area, latest 30 minutes after the agreed meeting time and ends wherever you like.
Note:
Normally guiding has priority on the day because powder boarding counts, though this does not mean that I won’t teach you or I give you tips and tricks if you ask for it.
