is well known for skiing, its four thousand meter high peaks and the
Matterhorn. Besides skiing and mountaineering, Zermatt offers a large
number of mountain-bike trails. Most of the cable-cars transport not only
people but bikes as well. People
who don't enjoy the hard way of biking use this service and take the
cable-car up and ride down. Certainly it's possible to start your trip in
Zermatt or to master a part of your trip by cable-car and the second part
with the bike.
